Visitors

We were lucky to have a lot of visitors to welcome Aidan while he was still in the NICU. Here are a few of the photos.

Welcome Aidan!

After 24 hours of contractions and no progress, we decided on a c-section. Everything moved very fast after that and at 5:03 p.m. on November 1st we had our beautiful baby boy - Aidan Thomas! He was born a month premature but still weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces. He was taken to the baby ICU where he stayed until November 11th.

Halloween Baby??

At the end of October, due to high blood pressure and early signs of preclampsia, my doctor put me on bedrest and then later admitted me to the hospital. On Halloween they decided to try to induce me because they were worried about my health and the health of the baby. Here are some pictures from the 24 hours they tried to induce. (I have very vague memories of this time--GO EPIDURALS!)

Work Baby Shower

Some of the girls from work threw my first baby shower for me on October 7th. It was so much fun and they did an awesome job with everything. Aidan can't wait to meet all his aunties.

The Nursery

With the news that Aidan is coming faster than anticipated, we thought we should hurry and get a move on with his nursery. Here are some pictures of his hard working daddy putting together furniture and the finished product. We don't have a mattress or bedding yet but you get the picture.

We realized that there are only pictures of me pregnant but none of me and Drew. We went to a friend's wedding and took that opportunity to get some pictures of the both of us.

Big Momma

Here are pictures of me in my first and second trimester. Hopefully I gained all my weight at the beginning and will slow down for the rest of the pregnancy.
